FERTILITY EVALUATION FEES

Fertility evaluation and treatment can be expensive.  Some insurance companies exclude testing and treatment while others pay for some, many or most services.  One common coverage is for "fertility" testing to make a diagnosis but not for "infertility" treatment and not for "infertility" testing during treatment.  If you plan to use insurance, ask them the following questions:

Common office and x-ray fees (to July 1, 2006 - in revision August 1, 2006) include:

Surgical testing such as laparoscopy can be $ 7,100 or more.

If you are not sure of your insurance coverage or of the costs to you, please be sure to ask.
